With excellently written instructions, why don't people follow them? The product is excellent quality and will take minute details (it even reproduced a small nick on my finger). I followed the instructions to a dot and the results were excellent. It does help if you're patient and have a small degree of experience with crafts, especially to fix the little bubbles, if you get any. Would definitely buy again if I ever need it.
Just completed it. The angle is off because my hand is smaller and we were standing when we put our hands in. (He's 6 inches taller). We didn't realize the angle was off. Mostly concerned enough room for his big paw. I recommend sitting and practice placing in bucket first to see what the angle looks like. It was fun and romantic.
This came out beautiful. My other half and his parents did it. I wanted him to be able to forever hold his parents hands.... Now he has that. The details in the hands that you can see is out if this world. We were able to do 5 adult hands. My other half had one hand in and his mom held his hands and his dad held hers. Even though it is stone you can see the love in their hands. I started pulling the silicone off about an hour ago and I am working on silicone that's still between fingers... Take your time doing this part. It's still rough cause I'm still working on it but I'm including pictures from where I'm at now
I ordered this kit for mother's 75th birthday and it was more than what I expected! Very easy to do, it does take some time to peel away the molding but they provide the tools necessary. Total time was a few hours start to finish. I was disappointed with the fingernails not coming out, they broke off right away as they were much thinner. Not sure how to fix that problem with the casting?? I just took a piece of sandpaper and smoothed them out. All in all this was a fun and neat experience for us!
I put the pot upside down in the bucket, poured in the pink goop, used a tiny amount of baby oil on my wife, son's, daughter's and my hand and waited. I wanted a focal centerpiece for our new addition in our house. This isn't just a centerpiece it is a conversation piece as well. I'm happy with my investment. I followed the instructions to the T and it work as described.
I will forever be grateful for this product! I never imagined it could turn out this good with 6 hands used in this mold. Highly recommend and think every family should capture this priceless piece of time.

Pro: It came earlier then expected which was great because I didn't realise it took 5-7 days to dry before you could paint it. Easy to use if your child can sit still long enough. Con: my one bag had a hole in it so the powder was at the bottom of the bucket. If you want to do 1 had or even 2 like in the picture get a different bucket the one provide is great if you are using both packs and 4 hand but smaller hands and 1 pack didn't fill the bucket enough. Over all I would purchase again and maybe even contacted the seller about the broken bag but it was a Christmas gift and I didn't have time to send it back and get a replacement for since it came with 2 sets we just used the one.
We used this with great success at the end of July, in the humidity and heat of Southern Italy, indoors in a breeze. While it seems silly to note the conditions, I have a failed attempt from the summer before under the same conditions of a smaller, other brand. It's comically on our shelf but this one is truly a beautiful art piece. We will definitely purchase again. Pro tip: make sure everyone is in a comfortable position because it does take a few minutes to set, I think it was about 5 minutes in total, and we were all aching by the end of it. But totally worth it! I was concerned about how to hold our 18 month old still for it-- definitely recommend another adult nearby to feed bananas and hold a phone with a music video or something on it. He wasn't happy toward the end but it avoided a meltdown and we have a lovely memory of everyone's size now. Perfect amount of space for 2 adults and 3 children.

Christmas shopping for a 20 year old boy,, son, Is nearly impossible.i Thought of a couple's gift. So I went out on a limb to get this for my son and his girlfriend of nearly 7 years and I was so excited when they opened it up and he said he actually had it sitting in his cart on Amazon thinking about getting it! So I scored on the gift side of things and then luckily they asked me to help them With the mold of it. We definitely watch the videos, read the instructions a few times and even read the different instructions that were with the QR link. Each one had different information literally and it was important to have all the information among all 3 platforms and not just the 1 that came with the Box. It does appear that a finger may have broken off but they think that's something they can usually fix or just overlook. They did wiggle around a little bit given that they are Very different in height And it did set a lot faster than expected even though we used cold water. But it came out very well and everybody is very pleased!
This is the second one I have purchased and I love them. I bought the larger size this time so I could fit four hands instead of two. The pros of this product is having fun doing it and it’s great family time and result came out better than I expected.
There was little info on whether or not this would work for a foot. My daughter is having a major surgery and we wanted to have a keepsake of her foot. It worked better than expected! Still have to seal it once cured. Highly recommend. Don’t skip watching the video!
I bought this casting kit as a holiday project for visiting relatives. I thought it would be nice to create a mold of grandmother and teenaged grandson holding hands. My expectations were that, even if it came out poorly, we'd have a lot of fun making it. Wow, we were blown away by the results! I've attached some photos of the process. Here are my tips: 1. Assign one person (the one who likes to read instructions) to take on the task of making sure everyone follows the step-by-step process. Preferably, this person is not one of the casting subjects. The instructions are accurate and very clear, but you shouldn't just try to wing it. 2. Every detail of your hands (or whatever you cast) will be immortalized, so file your nails nicely. Our subjects did not wear jewelry, but I think it would come out well and clean up pretty easily. 3. We poured the extra casting material into the bucket to create a base for the sculpture. 4. Half of the fun is "excavating" the cast from the rubbery material. Kids can participate in this part as long as they're gentle. If you're looking to create family memories and end up with an heirloom to show for it, I highly recommend this casting kit!
Since my grandkids are homeschooled I thought it would be a wonderful gift to support my daughter with all the hard work she does all year. I bought the family size so we could fit 3 kiddos hands inside. They are 8-11 & 13. To insert their hands we needed to prep them so they wouldn't be so complaining-"Don't touch me" "You're too close" LOLOL!! We were staying with the kids while their parents were on a work trip for my SIL. Perfect timing! Here's our experience: the reviews were so valuable here! *We weren't sure how messy it was so we set down a tarp & worked from the floor. That proved to be a great plan bc the floor was easier to get to to insert the kids hands so they wouldn't be arguing! For the mixing, we did use a mixing tool for household projects-like a mixer with a drill attached. Did not have access to a baking mixer and if I did, not sure I'd risk wrecking it. It stirred up great and I followed the instructions regarding timing from when it starts to turn pink. I'd say it's better to be safe and position your hands when it is light pink and be prepared to stay there for about 8-10 minutes. *Once it tacky to the touch we could see that it had gelled up and releasing the hands was quite easy! I'd make a suggestion that when deciding on your hand placement I would choose placing them in a touch pose. Our pose had small gaps (remember we were trying to keep the kids agreeable! LOL) as I was trying to accomplish 3 hands positioned to hold a pencil! It did work but the gaps had me going a bit "OCD" for getting the mold material picked out of the tiny gaps. If you don't get it out the instructions say it can collect mildew & I could see why! I'm trying to upload a photo...I hope I can do that easily! Those were our biggest takeaways that I felt were worth sharing. This is a great product and I'm considering getting one for a few wedding couples coming up.

The goal was to send hand molds to a family member out of state who is blind. Overall I, the kit worked pretty well. There were some important lessons learned, however, and we would do it differently next time but wouldn't hesitate to use similar kits from this company. The kit says it can cast "up to 6 hands" -- which I thought meant the negative mold material could be re-used and the casting material mixed in portions to use the kit several distinct times, once for each child. That's not how it works. On reading the instructions I learned that we'd have to do the kids all at once.

The product shown in the ad and what I got, wan night and day. 1. It took for ever to get the product. 2. Nothing in the ad they show you is in the packaging, the only thing you get is one packet of each mixes. 3. I followed the small print of instructions and nothing happened, I believe the product was to old, anyway I will never trust them or anything like this, my mom passed and never got to make the mold of her hand. Very disappointed customer.
First, send the bucket that was in the damn photo and second, enough to make it. I got a small bag a powder and that was it. And third, STOP taking money out of my account!!

We have not done it because we have no idea how much water to add and there is no bucket (which is pictured in the advertisement) you g uys falsely advertised your product and I will not recommend anyone buy it. Still waiting for my refund also.
It was like a sample. It was not at all what was advertised on Facebook. There wasn’t enough stuff to even make the hands. We tried, but it didn’t work. I was very disappointed because my boyfriend was leaving and I really wanted to have those hands to remind me of him.

The instructions were terrible and did not actually give the amounts to mix together so I just had to guess and it did not work. I was unable to use the kit.
